Skid steer underbrushing
Our Signature ServiceWe clear the brush, briars and saplings under your trees with a skid steer mulcher — and leave the trees you want to keep.
One pass. No burn piles.
A compact track loader runs a forestry mulching head — a spinning drum of carbide teeth — that grinds privet, honeysuckle, briars, vines, sweetgum and pine saplings where they stand and spreads them back out as mulch.
Your mature hardwoods and pines stay. You get a lot you can walk through, see through and mow, without pushing, piling and burning.

Mulchers at work
The same kind of equipment we run.

When to underbrush
- Wooded lake lots that have grown up thick
- Opening a view of the water
- Fence lines, trails and property lines
- Hunting land, food plots and shooting lanes
- Firebreaks and fuel reduction
- Getting a lot ready to list, survey or build
On both lakes, the strip between your lot and the water may not be yours. Keowee’s shoreline is managed by Duke Energy and Hartwell’s by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and clearing there usually needs their approval first.
We keep the work on your side of the line unless you have that approval in hand.
